Landes Candlesticks

Inspired by the endless pine forests of the south west Atlantic Landes Department of France, and the Faux Bois work found in the gardens, follies and grottos of Renaissance Chateaux, these candlesticks are cast in hard plaster and then hand-carved to give the texture of wood to the surface. A brass candle sleeve provides a finishing touch.

The candlesticks lend themselves to groupings as illustrated.
