The Vase is sculpted from a block of crystalline acrylic using a newly developed technique. The process encourages internal flaws and fractures to develop within the raw acrylic, allowing precious metals palladium and platinum to be incorporated. The cast block is then chiselled by hand to created a contrast of textures, from the raw to the perfectly cut and machined faces which are then polished by hand to a flawless crystal finish.
