A unique optical artwork, the cast lens collecting and magnifying the light to create a triple layered reflection. The effect seen from the side appears as a deep pool of blue, inspired by the intense colours of the Ionian Sea, the reflection shifting as one moves across the face of the mirror to reveal the appearance of an iris.

Materials & Finishes

The lens is cast to order in standard diameters ranging between 80cm to 150cm. Lead time 15-17 weeks. Due to the nature of hand casting each piece will vary slightly in composition and tone.

Formed in translucent cerulean blue, layered over a hand silvered panel, and set within a patinated steel frame. Alternative standard frame finishes available on request.
