Guilded artist Georgina Brett Chinnery making a custom artwork

Unlike our competitors Guilded specialises in custom-made art, to ensure you are guaranteed a piece that enhances and fits seamlessly into your space or project.

Every design presented by Guilded and shown on this website can be customised.  The intended location will determine the dimensions, orientation of design, finish colour, or material of fabrication if there are climatic considerations.

Our artists also welcome enquiries to develop original work in response to your aspirations. It is our role at Guilded to clearly inform, listen and guide you, bringing our expertise and experience to bear when communicating with our artists, to ensure the artwork we produce together exceeds your expectations.

What is the process?

If you see an artwork of interest please enquire using the ‘enquire’ button on the item’s listing. If it does not display measurements this is because it is only available custom made. We will advise to what extent the piece is customisable and the lead time for production. If you would like to place an order we will guide the process to establish the brief. Our response will include drawings and samples where required.

If you are interested in the artist creating an entirely new, bespoke artwork, your enquiry will be welcomed. We will establish your aspiration, while advising how the skills of the artist can be adapted or developed. We do not require you to state a budget up front, though we invite and welcome any known parameters that will inform our recommendations.

We respond to enquiries from clients all over the world, and distance is no object. We have realised custom orders and bespoke projects remotely from Thailand to San Fancisco. The majority are created in the artist’s studio, then shipped and installed by local professionals. Some projects, such as shelling a wall, are necessarily carried out in situ, whereupon we support the client and artist with all arrangements.

Payment

A commission or bespoke order forms a contract between you, the client, and Guilded, the supplier and our professional framework of terms and conditions offer complete reassurance.

Guilded contracts the artist to deliver the commission.

All commissioned work requires a 50% deposit on written confirmation of order and in settlement of invoice from Guilded, and 50% balance payment on completion with settlement due prior to dispatch. Full terms and conditions supplied on request.

Carriage or international shipment and optional installation will be arranged and invoiced separately. In some bespoke projects a higher deposit may be required due to higher material costs.
