A leather life size sculpture of a heron. The artist was given the skull of a heron was inspired to celebrate the dynamic beauty and elegance of these birds using her leather working skill. Please note the sculpture is not taxidermy. The heron and its partner (listed separately) is made with leather around a natural stuffing, using traditional hand cutting and tooling techniques, clay legs and white gold leafed to the body.
