Mussels

The blue grey of mussel sells lend themselves to arrangement with and without contrasting shells. Previous commissions (some of which are illustrated below) have involved numerous, individually framed pieces, that read together as one (much like a tapestry), wherein the mussels appear to be sea, and smaller brown shells appear to be land.
