Founded in 2010 by Charlotte Bowater the focus is on individuals and studios who, drawing on traditions of craftsmanship, experiment with material and process to creative innovative work spanning the fine and decorative arts.
Our international clientele are presented with a professional framework through which they can access the work of our selected independent artists, secure in the conduct and qualities that set Guilded apart. Working closely with each individual Guilded delivers an unrivalled offer which is at the forefront of its field, and, while we present pieces available to purchase as seen, we encourage custom evolvements to individual requirement. In guiding these, our experience and relationship with our artists ensures the finest quality and timely delivery.
Of course, every project is unique, so our we leverage experience, sources and relationships to provide a personal service to private clients and design professionals.
This service is all encompassing from initial enquiry to sourcing, commissioning, co-ordinating major projects and delivering art worldwide. We also tailor private art connoisseur itineraries that take in the vibrant art-scene out of London - whether that be our great sculpture foundations or visiting artists in their studios for an immersive experience.
You are invited to learn more about our service and to view case studies, commissions and testimonials in the pages of this site.
We are currently finalising the framework of our new website and look forward to launching it in July. The new site will present as a gallery showcasing the individuals we represent.
Guilded has refined its established core artists and will be introducing five emerging artists and studios. Please do sign up on our contact page for launch notification.
This year has seen the finalising of a number of exciting commissions including Tom Palmer's 120cm Ionian Iris convex mirror.
Looking ahead we will be presenting applications of techniques for interiors at Decorex 2017 and launching our first Guilded table designed to bring together the expertise of our fold in a piece of multi-functional furniture.
We are also building the content on our online gallery at the invitation of DECASO, and of course continuing to develop those existing digital platforms we work with.
I am delighted to announce that Anne Curry MRBS, whose sculptures we represent, will be showing 'Keeper of the Place' at this year's Venice Biennale. The work will appear as part of 'Personal Structures - Time Space Existence', an international art project.
