Shadow of the Dune

Artist Anne Curry MRSS

Contorted leaf of a thistle which grows in the sun baked, wind swept sand dunes of the Atlantic coast in France. Shadow of the Dune is alive to the play of light and is inspired by the intriguing form of sea kale which grows on coastal shorelines.

The artist’s cast was exhibited at the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, London in 2017.
