Coup de Vent

Artist Anne Curry MRSS

The papery leaves of a reed in winter buffeted by the wind. The design combines a seemingly impossible lightness of being, with a fluid monumentality not often achieved on work of this scale. The form has the advantage of being able to clearly read from a long distance – making it suitable as a focal point for an avenue or space in an extensive landscape garden.

Cast to order in bronze or resin. Illustration shows anthracite finish on resin cast. The corten plinth shown is available only for resin casts. A more substantial plinth would need be fabricated for bronze and will be discussed on enquiry.
